About me and my therapy practice
Life certainly has its challenges, doesn’t it? And sometimes, challenges can carry the weight of painful thoughts and emotions, which often feel overwhelming and difficult to navigate. These moments of darkness and confusion can feel incredibly lonely. But healing doesn’t have to happen in isolation.
I am a humanistic therapist who offers a compassionate, non-judgemental and contained space, where together, we can explore and make sense of your experiences. Whether you’re struggling with low mood, anxiety, depression or simply want to understand yourself better, I am here to offer you my warmth and support throughout your therapeutic journey.
Practice description
I work in a relational and collaborative way. As a Humanistic counsellor, I draw on a blend of Humanistic therapies - Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis - tailoring our work to your unique needs. I see therapy as a shared process, where we set goals together and review your progress regularly to ensure the therapy is working for you. We will always work at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
I believe you are and always will be the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what I think is best, but to walk alongside you as a partner in your journey. Together, we will explore and unpack your experiences, creating space for deeper understanding, emotional freedom, and a renewed sense of clarity and control over your life.
My first session
Reaching out for help is one of the bravest things we can do as human beings, and I understand how important it is to find the right person to talk to. To support this, I offer all new clients a complimentary 20-minute consultation. This allows us to discuss your needs and determines if my approach aligns with what you're looking for.
Following on from this, standard sessions are 50 minutes long and can be held in person or online.
