About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Deb - welcome to The Mind Place.

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ. I offer a warm, confidential and grounded space where you can explore what’s going on in your life, at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with adults and young people, supporting a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, grief and loss, abuse, anger, health concerns, life transitions, stress, women’s issues, relationship difficulties, trauma, and self-esteem/confidence issues.

Whatever brings you here, I’m here to listen with empathy and without judgment. Often the hardest part is simply reaching out. Taking that first step can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone in that. I understand how difficult it can be, and I’ll do my best to make you feel safe, supported and accepted.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to respond to your unique needs and experiences. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for the power of being truly seen and heard.

Counselling with me is a space to begin making sense of things, reconnect with your inner resources, and move, at your pace, towards healing, clarity and growth.

Sessions are 50 minutes, usually held weekly unless we agree otherwise, and I offer a free 15-minute video or telephone consultation, so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how I work.

If any of this resonates with you, or you’re simply curious about counselling, I’d love to hear from you.
