Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply too much. You might be living with anxiety, depression, low mood, or stuck in patterns that leave you feeling lonely, frustrated, disconnected from loved ones, your daily life, or even from yourself. You may wonder if things will ever feel manageable again.
鉁 I provide a nurturing space where you can be truly heard. I have experience and special interests in Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD, Autism, Parenting, Relationships, and Dating patterns, but I’m here to support you with whatever you are facing. I offer face to face sessions from my private therapy room in Leek, Staffordshire, and online therapy to anywhere in the UK. 鉁
Therapy offers space to slow down and reconnect with who you are. My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and CBT techniques. This allows us to gently explore your inner world while also finding practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your life.

Practice description
鉁 Dating 鉁
If you鈥檝e noticed repeating patterns in your dating life such as struggling to honour your needs, being drawn to unhealthy partners, or feeling stuck in familiar cycles, it鈥檚 understandable to feel frustrated or disheartened. These patterns often have deeper roots. Together, we can explore where they come from with curiosity and compassion, untangling what鈥檚 been keeping you stuck so you can create change. I offer gentle support to help you build relationships that feel balanced, respectful, and aligned with your true needs, where you can feel seen, safe, and whole.
鉁 Relationships 鉁
Does conflict with your partner leave you anxious or panicked? Do you feel the need to fix things right away or fear they might leave if they seem distant? Trust can be hard, especially if you鈥檝e been hurt before. Past experiences can make opening up feel scary or hard to believe things can change. Together, we can explore these feelings, understand their roots, and help you feel more secure and grounded.
We can also explore family or other relationships with parents, siblings, friends, or children. Each connection has its own story, and there鈥檚 no single 鈥渞ight鈥 way to navigate them. You might feel hurt, distant, or unsure how to repair what鈥檚 been strained, or learning to find peace with letting go. Therapy offers a safe space to explore emotions, understand patterns, and build trust and connection, especially with yourself.
鉁 Trauma 鉁
You may carry the weight of past experiences, perhaps growing up where love or safety were inconsistent, emotions dismissed, or responsibilities too heavy. Trauma can stem from what happened or what was missing. As an adult, you might feel anxious, disconnected, or unworthy, struggle with boundaries, or feel 鈥渢oo much鈥 or 鈥渘ot enough.鈥 You may also have experienced trauma later in life through loss, illness, or unhealthy relationships. In therapy, we鈥檒l create safety, deepen understanding, and support healing through compassion and self-awareness.
My first session
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big and sometimes uncertain step. You might be feeling nervous, unsure of what to expect, or not quite sure where to begin, and that鈥檚 completely okay.
In our first session, my focus is on creating a welcoming space where you can feel safe to be yourself. There鈥檚 no pressure to share anything you鈥檙e not ready to, and there鈥檚 no 鈥渞ight鈥 way to start. We鈥檒l go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of trust. I鈥檒l invite you to talk about what鈥檚 brought you to therapy, what you鈥檇 like support with, and any hopes or concerns you may have. You鈥檙e also welcome to ask me any questions about how I work, or about the therapy process in general.
I鈥檒l explain a little about my approach and how we might begin to explore the issues you want to work on. If you have any preferences or things that help you feel more at ease, I really welcome you sharing those, therapy should be a space that works for you.
Some clients come with clear goals in mind, others just know something doesn鈥檛 feel right and want a space to talk. However you arrive, we鈥檒l work together gently to begin making sense of things.
鉁 If this feels like the right place for you, I would be glad to hear from you, please reach out whenever you feel ready. 鉁
