Availability
Online sessions only
Right now, I have space for new clients on Mondays and Fridays.
I usually work in the daytime, but sometimes I am able to offer early evening or Saturday slots. Evening and weekend appointments come at an additional cost.
If you’re wondering whether we can find a time that works for you, please do ask.
If my availability doesn't align with your needs, I hope you’ll keep looking. You deserve to have your counselling sessions at a time that works for you
About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Kate 👋
Person-Centred Counsellor & Mental Health First Aid Instructor
I create a warm, compassionate space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind - while feeling genuinely heard, valued, and supported.
A Special Interest in ADHD
I have a particular interest in providing an understanding space for neurodivergent clients and those navigating the challenges of ADHD.
I aim to offer a space that feels inclusive, understanding, and shame-free.
My Approach
I work in a Person-Centred way. That means:
- You lead the way - I won’t tell you what to do.
- I see you as the only expert in your own life.
- My role is to support your self-discovery, healing, and growth.
- No pressure to explain everything, just come as you are.
A Bit More About Me
- I've worked in a Black-owned counselling service for 3+ years.
- I’m deeply committed to anti-racist practice.
- Outside the therapy room, I teach mental health in secondary schools.
- I also train adults to become Mental Health First Aiders®
Practical Stuff
- I work online, with adults across the UK
- I am committed to the Íø±¬ÃÅ ethical framework
- I am dedicated to ongoing learning and professional development
Sessions with me are held in English
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute consultation before we start.
This short Zoom call is completely free, it's not a full counselling session, and there’s no obligation to book in afterwards.
It’s a low-pressure way to:
• Say hello and see if we’re a good fit
• Chat briefly about what’s brought you here
• Ask any questions about how I work and what to expect
There’s no expectation to share more than you feel comfortable with. Some people like to talk a bit about what’s going on, others prefer to ask questions or just get a sense of me and how I work. Whatever feels right for you is welcome.
It’s simply a chance to see whether working together feels right.
If that sounds helpful, feel free to get in touch and we’ll find a time
