About me and my therapy practice

Hi, thank you for looking at my profile. Are You Facing Change, Anxiety, loss or Grief? If you are finding yourself amid change, feeling lost, or weighed down by anxiety or grief, I want you to know you do not have to face it on your own. Are you noticing the same old patterns repeating, or you feel unsure of who you are right now. These feelings are more common than you might think it is okay to reach out for support as you find your way through.

I provide A Safe, Non-Judgemental Space. When you come to see me, I offer more than just a listening ear; I provide a warm, accepting space where you can truly be yourself. Whoever you are and wherever you come from, I will welcome you just as you are. Together, we will explore your experiences, your worries, and your hopes at your pace, and in your way. My aim is to help you build the resilience and self-understanding you need to move forward with greater confidence.

My Experience and Approach

As an integrative counsellor, I have had the privilege of supporting adults from the age of 18 and over 75. Those coping with bereavement, long-term illness, mental health and disabilities.

 I have also helped many individuals navigate anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, and relationship difficulties. I have worked with people with diverse cultures, disabilities, spirituality, neurodivergent and from the LGBTQ+ community. 

These experiences have taught me that everyone’s story is unique, and every journey deserves care and respect. I value everyone's unique story and believe every journey deserves care and respect.


Practice description

 As an integrative humanistic counsellor. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models such as Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, CBT, Grief Therapy, and Creative Therapy so that together, we can find the approaches that feel right for you. I will offer tools, wellbeing strategies, and psychoeducation, always tailored to your needs. Not one method fits all, and I am committed to adapting our work to support you as an individual

Reaching out can feel daunting. You might feel anxious or unsure, and that is completely normal. For me, building trust is the foundation of everything we will do together. I will meet you with empathy, patience, and respect every step of the way. Let us connect, and together, create a space where you can be listened to, heal, grow, and rediscover your sense of self at a pace that suits you.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation where you can ask any questions and see if we are a good fit. Please send me an enquiry so we can organise a suitable time.

After the consultation, I offer weekly sessions that are 50 minutes long via video call or telephone. 

Our first session will look at explore your goals and what you want to achieve in therapy, coping techniques and any adjustments you may need to feel comfortable in therapy. Working agreement. 

Face to face will be available soon. In Thanet and Canterbury area. Please feel free to enquire.
