About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ-registered integrative counsellor offering a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgment. I work with adults facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, past trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and navigating neurodiversity.
My approach is rooted in person-centred values, which means I work alongside you—listening with care, empathy, and respect—while tailoring therapy to suit your individual needs. I also draw on other therapeutic models to support your personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and sense of clarity.
I have a particular interest in men’s mental health and in providing culturally sensitive therapy for clients from diverse backgrounds. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply in need of space to reflect, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, in-person and online, depending on what works best for you.
Practice description
My practice is a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace. I offer one-to-one counselling for adults, both in-person and online, depending on what suits you best.
I work integratively, with a strong foundation in person-centred values—meaning our work together will be led by your needs, not a fixed agenda. Sessions are guided by what feels most important to you, whether that’s unpacking past experiences, managing present challenges, or finding clarity for the future.
Clients often come to me with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or feeling overwhelmed by life. I also have a particular focus on men’s mental health and providing culturally sensitive therapy, especially for those who may not have felt therapy was for them before.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, respectful environment where you feel heard, accepted, and never judged. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more connected to yourself, and better able to face whatever life brings.
My first session
Before booking a full session, I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or video call. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, discuss what you're looking for, and see whether I’m the right fit to support you. There's no obligation just a space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
If you decide to go ahead, the first full session is an opportunity to explore things in more depth. I’ll invite you to share what’s brought you to therapy and what you’d like to focus on, but there’s no pressure, we’ll go at your pace. I’ll also explain how I work, cover practicalities like confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have.
Where helpful, I may offer simple wellbeing questionnaires to help us understand how anxiety, low mood, or other issues might be affecting you day to day. These are always optional and only used if they support your goals in therapy.
I charge my standard rate for the first session and work with both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on your needs.
