About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Abi, welcome. I work in a warm, non-judgemental way which I hope provides a space which is calm and gentle. We can work together either in person or online, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
My approach is non-directive, which means I won't tell you what to do, you determine how things go and at what pace. Together we can explore the reasons that brought you to counselling. I appreciate that it can be hard to take the first step, and to find the right person to work with so please feel free to ask as many questions as you need, about anything you like.
I aim to support you through a relationship built on trust, empathy and respect.
Working with adults on a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, loss, life transitions, identity and relationship challenges. I have a trauma informed approach and aim to meet each client with sensitivity and care.
Everyone is welcome, I offer an inclusive space where you will feel safe, respected and accepted. There doesn't need to be a specific reason for coming, sometimes things just don't feel right, or you are curious to know more about what makes you tick.
Sessions last up to 50 minutes, whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed or simply curious about what therapy might bring, you're very welcome exactly as you are.
I am a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ and adhere to their Ethical Framework.
Practice description
At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change happens through relationship. I offer a collaborative, compassionate space where you are invited to bring whatever you’re carrying — without pressure or expectation. I don’t offer advice or direction, but instead we work together to explore what matters to you, trusting that insight and clarity will come.
I aim to create a space that feels steady and safe. I work in a trauma-informed way, being mindful of working at a pace that is gentle yet effective, always remembering the importance of choice and consent in everything we do.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform or hold it all together, it's all welcome, however you are in that moment.
My first session
Our first session is an initial meeting and is offered at a reduced fee of £30. It is a chance for us to get a sense of one another and explore whether working together feels like the right fit. Held in person and lasting up 50 minutes, the session includes some questions from me, a space for you to share a brief personal history, and time to ask anything you'd like to know.
I’ll also take some basic details, all of which will be held securely in line with GDPR. Toward the end, we can consider whether to move forward together and, if so, arrange the next steps. There’s no pressure or obligation — it’s simply a space to begin the conversation. I really am looking forward to working with you, thank you.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Abi. Welcome to Still Point Wellbeing. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever is on your mind, either in person or online.
My approach is non-directive, which means I follow your lead and work at your pace. Together we can explore the reasons that have brought you to counselling. I appreciate that it can be hard to make the first step, and to find the right person to walk alongside you. If in person is not for you then online sessions may be more suitable and can be arranged to suit.
I aim to support you through a relationship built on trust, empathy and respect.
Working with adults on a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, loss, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges, I have a trauma-informed approach and aim to meet each client with sensitivity and care.
People from all backgrounds are welcome and I strive to offer a space where you'll feel safe, respected, and accepted. You don’t need to have a clear reason for coming — sometimes it’s enough to feel that something isn’t quite right, or that you’re seeking a deeper connection with yourself.
Sessions last up to 50 minutes. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about what therapy might bring, you're very welcome just as you are.
