About me and my therapy practice
I work in a person-centred way, which means our sessions are guided by you and what feels most important in your life right now. This approach values your unique experiences and trusts that you have the ability to grow and find your own way forward, with the right support. My role is to listen attentively and without judgment, creating a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
I will meet you with care, empathy, and respect, supporting you at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can gently explore challenges, discover new perspectives, and nurture your wellbeing. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and truly valued, so that you can begin to build greater clarity, confidence, and self-acceptance in your journey.
Practice description
I offer counselling sessions remotely, which means you can access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Working online allows flexibility while still ensuring a safe, confidential, and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I work in a person-centred way, focusing on what feels most important to you. My role is to listen with empathy and without judgment, creating a caring and respectful environment where you feel truly heard and valued.
The number of sessions you have is entirely your choice — some people benefit from shorter-term support, while others prefer longer-term work. I encourage clients to consider around 10 sessions or more, as this often allows enough time to build trust, work through challenges, and see meaningful change, but we will always move at a pace that feels right for you.
My first session
I offer a free initial phone call, lasting around 20–30 minutes. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk about what has brought you to counselling, and explore what you would like to gain from therapy. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a feel for how I work, so you can decide whether this feels like the right support for you.
