About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, collaborative, and affirming approach, where you can talk openly and explore whatever’s going on in your life—without fear of judgement. I believe that therapy works best when we build a relationship based on trust, honesty, and mutual respect.

My way of working is integrative, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic models - including psychodynamic, person-centred, and compassion-focused therapies. This allows me to adapt to your individual needs, whether you're seeking insight, support through a difficult time, or a deeper understanding of yourself.

Together, we might explore current challenges as well as underlying patterns that may be shaping your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. I pay close attention to how past experiences—especially early relationships—can continue to affect the way we feel and relate to others in the present.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure where to begin, we can work together to gently unpack what’s going on at your own pace.

Practice description

I provide a safe, confidential space where you can feel genuinely heard and understood. Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm, steady presence I bring to our work, and the depth of reflection we create together.

I work with adults from all backgrounds and walks of life. Clients often come to me with concerns such as anxiety, low self-esteem, overthinking, relationship difficulties, and questions around identity or direction. Many describe feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others. Therapy can help you begin to make sense of these feelings, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I also have particular experience in working with LGBTQ+ clients and offer a safe, affirming space for those who want to explore how shame, identity, or past experiences may be affecting them today. If this is relevant to you, we can work gently and sensitively to help you feel more at ease in who you are.

I work integratively, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs. I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on what feels right for you.

Sessions are available online and in person at comfortable rooms near London Bridge and King’s Cross. If you're curious about how therapy might help, I’d be happy to talk.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet and explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and whether I might be the right therapist for you. I’ll ask some gentle questions to get a sense of your background, current concerns, and any relevant history—but there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about how I work and what therapy might look like with me. We’ll talk about practical details such as timing, fees, and whether you’re looking for short-term or open-ended support.

I don’t require clients to complete a formal assessment before starting therapy. Instead, we use this initial conversation to start building a sense of connection and to see whether it feels like a good fit on both sides.

The first session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the standard session rate. If you’d like to arrange a free 15-minute phone call before booking, I’d be happy to offer that.
