About me and my therapy practice
Healing, identity and growth 鈥 a safe space where every part of you is welcome.
Counselling with me is about creating a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard. I work in a person-centred way, which means you set the pace and decide what feels important to explore. I won鈥檛 tell you what to do, but I will listen carefully, with empathy and respect, so that together we can make sense of what you鈥檙e going through.
I also recognise that spirituality and cultural identity are deeply important for many people, and I welcome conversations around these areas if they are meaningful to you.
Practice description
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including abuse, anxiety, bereavement, bullying, cultural concerns, depression, grief, loneliness, self-esteem, self-harm, relationships, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), spirituality, and trauma. I also have particular expertise in supporting survivors of sexual abuse and clients experiencing suicidal thoughts.
I aim to provide a confidential and compassionate space where you can discuss what matters most to you without fear of judgment. Clients often tell me they value my warmth, my ability to sit with them in their pain, and the sense of relief that comes from finally being able to share what they鈥檝e been carrying alone. Whether you are coming to counselling for a specific issue or seeking ongoing support, I will walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
Sessions are for 60 minutes.
My first session
A compassionate space to talk about the things that feel hardest to say.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory session, where you can ask me questions and get a sense of whether I鈥檓 the right counsellor for you. This is your time to decide if you feel comfortable and supported.
If you choose to continue, our first full session will focus on what brings you here and what you hope to gain. I鈥檒l also explain how I work, what confidentiality means, and we鈥檒l go at a pace that feels right for you. You don鈥檛 need to share more than you鈥檙e ready to 鈥 many people find that even the first step of being listened to in a safe space can feel like a relief.

About me and my therapy practice
Many people come to counselling when life feels difficult to manage alone. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood or depression, stress at work, or low self-esteem. Some people come to me after a bereavement or loss, a relationship breakdown, or because they feel 鈥渘ot good enough.鈥 Others are dealing with trauma, family issues, or simply want someone to talk to in confidence.
I also recognise that religion, spirituality and cultural identity are deeply important for many people, and I welcome conversations around these areas if they are meaningful to you.
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can explore whatever is on your mind, without judgement. Together, we can make sense of your feelings and find ways forward that feel right for you.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but reaching out is the beginning of change. Please get in touch if you鈥檇 like to arrange a first session or simply ask a question.
Practice description
Although I am primarily a person-centred counsellor, I tailor my approach to each client鈥檚 individual needs, drawing on a range of theoretical perspectives such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). At the heart of my practice is a commitment to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they take positive steps toward their growth and personal goals.
