About me and my therapy practice
We often try to manage distress by compromising, even denying, those parts of ourselves associated with pain. This may result in short-term relief but in the long run it prevents us from working through the real issues, leaving us vulnerable to unwelcome thoughts and feelings.
I offer a supportive environment in which to re-discover your authentic self, and explore, with you, how to take what you've learnt into the 'outside world'.
My aim is for you to leave therapy having achieved meaningful change and armed with insights that will support you long after our time together has come to an end.
Practice description
I usually suggest that we meet online, once a week, at a regular time. However, I am open to being flexible in order to suit individual circumstances, where possible.
Alongside regular therapy I offer the option of Single Session Therapy (SST) where we aim to make meaningful progress on a single issue in just one session. Additional support is always available afterwards in the form of further sessions or signposting to other forms of support, if desired.
We can discuss, together, when you book your initial call, the best way forward for you.
My first session
I offer the option of a 20-minute, free-of-charge phone or video call before booking your first session.
For your first full session, I charge £35.
You are under no obligation to return for further sessions.
