About me and my therapy practice
My name is Jemima, and I am an integrative psychotherapist offering a warm, supportive space where vou can feel understood and respected. Whether you're navigating life transitions, recurring patterns, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, therapy provides a reflective environment to explore your inner world, gain clarity, and make meaningful change.
I draw on a range of approaches-including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and CBT-tailoring our work to your individual needs. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model; we are all unique, and my aim is to shape therapy around you. My core way of working combines person-centred and psychodynamic perspectives, while integrating CBT techniques when helpful, offering practical tools vou can bring into your everyday life. This flexible and collaborative approach allows us to work in a way that feels comfortable, relevant, and meaningful for you.
Empathy, authenticity, and respect for your unique experience are at the heart of my practice. Together, we'll explore how past experiences may shape your present emotions and behaviours, and identify what can support you in creating lasting change.
Practice description
I work with individuals facing a range of emotional and relational challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief, neurodiversity, identity, and the impact of health conditions. also support those exploring questions around gender, sexuality, and cultural background.
I am committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and follow the professional codes set by Íø±¬ÃÅ. Confidentiality, respect, and trust are at the heart of my work, and your wellbeing will always be my priority.
I offer both in-person sessions in North West London and secure online therapy and sessions are 50 minutes.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone or online consultation before we decide to work together. This is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss what's bringing you to therapy, and see if it feels like the right fit. You're welcome to ask any questions about me, my approach, or how therapy works.
If you choose to continue, our first full session will be 50 minutes at my usual rate. We'll begin exploring what has brought you to therapy, what you'd like to focus on, and what you hope to gain from the process. It's also a chance for vou to get a sense of my style and whether it feels like the right support for you.
