About me and my therapy practice

"Helping hearts and minds find their voice."

I’m a therapist working with adults, children, and adolescents, offering a warm, creative, and compassionate space to explore life’s challenges. Grounded in psychodynamic and Gestalt approaches, I draw on play, art, and equine-assisted therapy to meet each person where they are.

I work with children and families navigating Autism, ADHD, and additional needs, and I have a special passion for supporting non-verbal children. I also help those living in the care system, as well as adopters and foster carers, to find understanding, connection, and resilience. My experience includes supporting people through trauma, loss, self-harm, and identity challenges.

Whether with a child building confidence, a teenager navigating identity, or an adult finding their voice, I work alongside my clients and their families to help them grow, heal, and thrive.

Practice description

Starting therapy can feel daunting, whether you’re a parent seeking support for your child, a teenager navigating big changes, or an adult carrying your own challenges. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe, compassionate space where you can be heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

I work with adults, children, and adolescents, drawing on psychodynamic and Gestalt approaches, which help us explore both the deeper roots of difficulties and the present moment. With children, I often use play, art, and equine-assisted therapy to gently open up communication and emotional expression — especially for those who find words hard to come by. I have a particular passion for working with non-verbal children, as well as those with Autism, ADHD, and additional needs.

I also support adults and families, especially adopters, foster carers, and those living in the care system. My experience includes helping people through trauma, bereavement and loss, self-harm, eating disorders, and identity concerns. With teenagers, I focus on creating a safe space to explore identity, relationships, and the pressures of social media.

Every person is unique, and so is every therapeutic journey. I adapt my approach to meet you where you are, working together to build emotional resilience, deepen understanding, and find new ways forward. Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, or simply a place to pause and breathe, you are welcome here.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what brings you or your child to therapy, and see how it feels to work together. We’ll talk about your hopes, needs, and any questions you may have, as well as discuss practical details like session structure and frequency. To make this step easier, I offer the first session at half my usual rate, giving you the chance to get a feel for the process before committing.
