About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel anxiety is an all-too-familiar feeling, and your self-esteem is depleted? Maybe you no longer believe in yourself and have lost trust in your own decision-making. Life may not feel the way you want it to, leaving you lost and unsure, and you're struggling to understand why.
You're not alone. Many of us face these difficulties, whether from past experiences, loss, or uncertainty about our path forward. I understand the struggle to face and confront emotions you've been trying to avoid.
Hello, I'm Rebecca
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a supportive and calming environment where you can explore your experiences with confidence and trust. My approach is both warm and grounded, creating a space where you'll feel genuinely heard and understood as you share your thoughts and feelings.
I recognise that seeking counselling support can feel overwhelming, particularly when you're already navigating life's challenges. Please know that I am committed to helping you feel comfortable and secure from our very first session. My practice is built on creating a foundation of safety and acceptance, allowing you to open up at your own pace.
I would welcome the opportunity to work alongside you on your journey to reconnect with yourself and rediscover meaning in your life. I understand the courage it takes to reach out, and I want you to know that compassionate, non-judgmental support is available to you here.
As an experienced Cruse Bereavement counsellor, I have a special interest in grief and loss. I understand that some days feel lighter, while grief can return unexpectedly and weigh heavily on you.
'Grief isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s silent and slow. Sometimes it looks like functioning on the outside while falling apart inside...'
Sharing your feelings won't make grief go away, but together, we can manage those intense emotions at your own pace. I can help you find understanding during this confusing and uncertain time.
Practice description
I work alongside people struggling with loss, identity, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, or challenging transitions. In our sessions, you can share any thoughts and feelings, knowing you will be fully accepted and supported.
As we delve into the core of who you are, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Together, we will identify your strengths and what motivates you, so we can work to get you back on track and help you gain a clearer sense of how to move forward.
You’ll begin to feel more in control of your life. Leading to healthier interactions and a stronger, kinder connection with yourself. This journey can help you grow in confidence, rediscover happiness, and make positive choices for your future.
I offer flexible counselling to meet your needs, whether you require short-term or long-term support, online via video, a call, or in-person.
If this resonated with you, I’d love to support you through it. My support will be caring and compassionate, progressing at a pace that ensures you feel secure and comfortable. I look forward to hearing from you.
