I am currently accepting new clients.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange a free initial call about you and your issue, or any questions you may have about starting therapy.
I offer some reduced-rate spaces to low-income clients.
About me and my therapy practice
I believe deep change comes through insight, new emotional experience, and greater clarity about how you relate to others. My aim is to create a space where you feel truly heard and understood, because I believe that’s where real change begins. It’s important that we connect, and that you feel comfortable sharing openly, even when things feel challenging.
I integrate psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and existential approaches:
Psychodynamic – We’ll explore how your past experiences and attachments might be influencing how you feel and act today. By understanding these patterns, we can work together to navigate current challenges with more awareness and choice.
Trauma-informed – I offer a safe and understanding space in which you can speak to difficult experiences or a traumatic past. We’ll go at your own pace, to help you feel more grounded and resilient.
Existential – We can think together about the bigger questions in your life – what gives you meaning, what you value, and how you can find more satisfaction and even moments of lightness.
Practice description
Why therapy? Because you’re seeking change. That is the only criterion.
Therapy attends to the thing you hope to understand, improve, stop, grieve, or heal. Something all-too-familiar, or that you may not have words for yet. Something about your inner life, or what it’s like to be out there amongst others. Something about what happened then, or that isn’t happening now. Something that needs to change.
We’ll meet in-person (occasionally online when necessary), long or short term, usually weekly. I have a calm and private consulting room near Dartmouth Park in North London. Parking is available nearby. Tufnell Park, Archway, and Upper Holloway stations are a few minutes walk.
My first session
It starts with a simple conversation.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange a free initial call about you and your issue, or any questions you may have about starting therapy.
