About me and my therapy practice

About me and my work

Hi,

I’m Dilya, a qualified counsellor based in London. I offer counselling services both online and in-person, with locations in Central London and Beckenham (South East London). My approach to therapy is warm, integrative, and holistic, and I am passionate about providing a supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

As a trained Psychosynthesis counsellor, I take a transpersonal approach to counselling, which focuses on the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – and helps individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their life journey. I also have experience as a mindfulness teacher and incorporate mindful awareness into my practice. By cultivating presence in the sessions, I use mindfulness techniques to help address anxiety, worry, and a sense of disconnection or lack of groundedness. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to make lasting changes in your life.

Services Offered:

• One-to-one therapy sessions (available both in-person and online)

• Short-term or long-term counselling

• Specialising in identity changes (parenthood, pregnancy, immigration, marriage, divorce, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more)

• Mindfulness techniques for anxiety, worry, and grounding

Whether you are facing a specific life transition or simply seeking personal growth, I am here to support you through it. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing and work toward healing, self-understanding, and empowerment.
