About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Sarah – a warm, down-to-earth integrative therapist offering a calm, compassionate space for healing and growth. My therapeutic style is holistic and person-centred, which means I view the whole person, not an individual problem.

My sessions are confidential and take place online or by phone, which allows you to access support in a way that feels convenient and comfortable. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, and listens without judgment.

I work with people experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, addiction, self-esteem difficulties, and feelings of being lost or stuck. You don’t need to have a specific label for what you’re going through – therapy is a space to be curious, honest, and supported.

I hold a Master’s degree in Addiction Psychology and Counselling and am a registered member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ. I practice ethically and inclusively, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Together, we work at your pace, with your goals at the centre. I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs and aim to support your personal growth, self-awareness, and emotional resilience.

Practice description

My therapy practice is rooted in creating a safe, respectful space where you can be yourself – free from judgment, pressure, or expectation. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to open up, and I aim to offer a space that feels both containing and supportive.

I offer flexible online and telephone sessions, which make therapy accessible no matter where you are or what your schedule looks like. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically take place weekly, although we can discuss a rhythm that suits your needs.

You can come to therapy with a clear issue in mind or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel right. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore what’s going on in your inner world and begin to make sense of it.

I work from a person-centred foundation, but my practice is adaptable – I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll shape the process together. I encourage feedback and believe therapy should feel like a collaborative experience.

What you can expect from me: consistency, compassion, curiosity, and a strong belief in your capacity to grow and heal.

My standard fee is £60 per session, and I offer a concessionary rate of £40 for students or those in financial difficulty. Please feel free to ask about availability for reduced-fee spaces.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call.  It's a relaxed space which provides an opportunity for us to get to know each other.  You can ask questions, share what's bringing you to counselling, and see if we feel like a good match.

We'll also talk about how I work and what you can expect in future sessions. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions and see if you feel comfortable working with me. There’s no obligation to continue, and you're welcome to take time after the session to decide.

If you decide to continue, our first session will be a safe and open space to begin your journey.  You don't need to plan or prepare anything; we'll go at your pace and there is no pressure.  It’s important to me that you feel safe and supported from the beginning.
