About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Íø±¬ÃÅ registered integrative counsellor and therapist offering short and long-term therapy for trainees, young adults, adults and older adults, both in-person in a calm, friendly setting in Shrewsbury and online via Zoom.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard and supported working with adults, parents, professionals, and neurodivergent clients.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck—or perhaps you’re navigating relationship challenges, burnout, or life changes. Whatever has brought you here, I’ll meet you with kindness and curiosity, and we’ll explore what you need at your own pace.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, grounded and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space where all parts of you are welcome—especially if you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or like you’ve had to mask who you are.
Practice description
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic models—including humanistic person-centred, psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis—to shape sessions around your unique experiences and needs.
I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a collaborative and respectful relationship. My practice is rooted in the belief that every person is the expert in their own life.
Whether you want to better understand yourself, break free from old patterns, or process something from your past, I’m here to support you in a way that feels safe, steady and empowering.
I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome—especially if you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or like you’ve had to mask who you are.
Whether you're looking to understand unhelpful patterns, reconnect with yourself, or process something from the past, I’ll meet you with empathy, curiosity, and kindness.
Together, we can explore how to move towards greater self-understanding, authenticity, and connection—with yourself and with others.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step.
I offer a free 15-minute telephone initial conversation for you to tell me a little about yourself, and to decide if you feel we might be a good fit.
In our first session, we’ll talk through what’s bringing you to counselling and what you’re hoping for. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions.
We can agree on how many sessions will initially work for you.
We regularly check in to reflect on how you are experiencing us working together. There’s no pressure—we’ll go at your pace.
