About me and my therapy practice
Whatever issues you're facing, there is hope.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or other emotional challenges. But no matter how deep the pain or how long you've been carrying it, healing is possible.
ABOUT ME
I’m Beverley, an Integrative Psychotherapist, currently working with young adults 18-24 online, and children and young adults in school and sixth form settings.
Being an integrative therapist means I blend (or integrate) more than one modality of therapy to create a unique therapeutic approach tailor-made for each client. For example, therapy incorporating cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic therapy and creative techniques, amongst others.
I work with a broad range of issues and have particular interest in trauma, bipolar disorder, low mood/depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and neurodiversity.
MY APPROACH
My approach is trauma-informed, rooted in trust and creating safety, and I work collaboratively with clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship.
As a survivor of childhood trauma, and someone who faced their own inner struggles, I understand how lonely life can feel. If authenticity acquired from experiential knowledge feels helpful for you, I am here to offer a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, respected and supported. Please know that I won’t speak about my own experiences in the therapy room, as it is your space and time.
