About me and my therapy practice

Whether you're feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply want some space to talk things through. My focus is on creating a space together where you can bring whatever feels difficult, whether it’s heavy, confusing, or hard to put into words - knowing it will be met with care and understanding. Together, we can explore what you’re carrying and work towards the changes that matter most to you.

The challenges we face might stem from our own vulnerabilities, a painful or confusing relationship, or the illness or loss of a loved one. Anger or depression may grip us, or we might find ourselves overwhelmed by anxiety and stress. Sometimes, having the space to explore your thoughts in depth and consider how they shape your life and relationships, can be hugely beneficial in feeling more enriched and connected.

If you're thinking about starting counselling, it would be good to hear from you.

Practice description

I use an integrative approach, meaning that I draw from various therapeutic models to tailor my approach to your needs. At the heart of my practice is the Person-Centred Approach, placing you at the core of the therapeutic process. This means our work together is led by your needs, and centred around what feels most important to you.

My first session

Our first session can focus on creating an understanding as to what you would like to gain from counselling, and how we can work together to create a space that feels right for you. I’ll invite you to share what’s brought you here, but there’s no pressure to open up more than you feel comfortable with.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a feel for whether my approach aligns with what you’re looking for. Most importantly, it’s about ensuring you feel heard, understood and at ease in our initial session together.
