About me and my therapy practice

I have had the privilege of working with various clients, supporting them through life’s many challenges. My integrative approach allows me to draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored specifically to meet your unique needs.

Alongside my private practice, I also have experience working with a charity that supports families affected by mental health challenges. This has given me valuable insight into the complex dynamics families face when navigating mental health difficulties and has further strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, family-focused support.

Whether you’re experiencing low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, depression, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and grow. Many clients find therapy to be a powerful and rewarding journey toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional wellbeing.

I have developed an interest in supporting those dealing with anxiety. I understand how overwhelming and isolating anxiety can feel, and how important it is to have a secure, empathetic space to process those feelings. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your anxiety and develop effective strategies to help you feel more in control, confident, and calm.

In addition, I have a strong interest in working with body image concerns, relationships with food, and eating disorders.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that everyone, given the right support, has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. I will listen with empathy, respect, and understanding, helping you reflect on your experiences, values, and emotions without judgment.

Practice description

I am an integrative therapist, meaning I draw upon a blend of therapeutic theories and techniques, tailoring them to meet your unique needs. This flexible approach recognises that no two clients are the same. While I incorporate various methods, my work is primarily grounded in a person-centred approach, ensuring you remain at the core of the process.

At the heart of our work is the therapeutic relationship we build—one rooted in safety, trust, and genuine connection. It’s why finding a therapist you feel comfortable with, someone you trust to walk alongside you, is so essential. It is within this relationship that meaningful healing and growth can truly take place.

My first session

I understand how difficult it can feel to reach out for support.

You are very welcome to email or call me to discuss your counselling needs—there’s no pressure or obligation. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive space, and my aim is always to genuinely help my clients feel heard, understood, and valued.

To make the process a little easier, I also offer a free 15-minute, no-obligation phone call. This gives you the chance to ask any questions, share a little about what’s bringing you to counselling, and see whether you feel I might be the right therapist for you.

You don’t have to decide straight away—I want you to feel comfortable and confident in taking this step at your own pace.
