About me and my therapy practice
Would you like to feel deeply heard and accepted while being offered approaches that can foster your change and growth?
Welcome, I’m Hannah, and I offer a heartfelt approach to helping you become more of who you want to be in the world.
I’m trained to support you to work through traumatic experiences, inner conflict, and struggles with life so that you can move forward with greater ease and fulfilment. Or I can support your exploration of meaning, purpose, and personal growth.
During our work together I will help you recognise the unique ways that you have found to navigate life. No one else has walked your path before or faced your exact challenges. Which is why I encourage self-acceptance and celebration of all aspects of yourself.
I don’t offer fixes in therapy, that’s not how true growth happens, I offer compassion, guidance and techniques to help evoke change from within you. I believe that each person has their own inner wisdom and when you are able to connect to that it becomes easier to find your way forward and to enjoy life.
I deeply recognise that societal, cultural or global issues affect the well-being of each of us and our capacity to live authentically. The challenges you face may also be symptoms of systemic forces and oppression.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and being with you on your enriching journey.
You are welcome to contact me with any questions or to arrange a no-cost 20-minute video call consultation call to find out more.
Practice description
I’m a qualified Psychosynthesis Therapist who offers a transpersonal, integrative and holistic approach. I mainly offer talk therapy which is interwoven with creative approaches tailored to your needs.
My transpersonal approach means I encourage you to connect more deeply with your wisdom and depth.
The holistic approach I take includes working with mind, body and feelings. As a long-term student of the Diamond Approach, I bring over 15 years of experience in using somatic practices such as meditation.
I am trained and experienced in offering creative techniques such as guided imagery and drawing. If these approaches appeal to you, they can be a powerful way to reveal hidden parts of you, your deepest longings, new possibilities and your potential.
The integrative aspect of my practice includes drawing on psychodynamic approaches, which includes working with the unconscious and exploring how our relationships in the past effect our relationship is the present and gestalt, which includes exploring your experience of relating in the present moment.
Having a deep love of wild nature and a background in ecotherapy, I also offer outdoor therapy at an iconic nature reserve in West Wales where you can be immersed in ancient Welsh Oak woodland and surrounded by the backdrop of Eryi (Snowdonia).
My first session
The first session with me is an opportunity for you to meet me and decide if I am the right therapist for you. About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, I’m Hannah, and I offer a heartfelt and collaborative approach to helping you become more of who you want to be in the world. I support you to feel deeply heard and accepted while offering approaches that can foster your change and growth.
I offer lower cost sessions for students and younger people in the Aberystwyth area. I believe younger people need access to affordable counselling to help navigate the immense economic pressure that Gen Z are facing. Sessions are online and (coming soon) at my practice room in Borth.
I’m trained to support you to work through traumatic experiences, inner conflict, and struggles with life so that you can move forward with greater ease and fulfilment. I can also support your exploration of meaning, purpose, and personal growth.
My approach is LGBTQIA+ affirmative. I deeply recognise that societal, cultural or global issues affect the well-being of each of us and our capacity to live authentically. The challenges you face may also be symptoms of systemic forces and oppression.
