About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome!

Does your mind feel like it never switches off?

Maybe you鈥檙e caught in constant chatter in your head, replaying conversations, worrying about what other people think, or stuck in endless 鈥渨hat ifs.鈥 You might overthink every interaction and feel exhausted from trying to hold it all together.

You鈥檙e not alone 鈥 and things can change.

I鈥檓 a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist offering a calm, compassionate space to make sense of your thoughts and feelings. Together, we鈥檒l explore the patterns that drive your worry, self-criticism, or anxiety, and work toward more balanced, kinder ways of thinking.

For a long time, I believed strong people just got on with it. Now I know that real strength comes from being vulnerable, slowing down, and getting to know yourself.

Therapy can help you quiet the noise, understand yourself more deeply, and find hope in the process of change.

I have worked within the social care sector for over twenty-five years, supporting people both in times of crisis and when they are struggling to make sense of their lives. I

As a parent of two grown up neurodiverse daughters (one with AS and the other ADHD) I am aware of some of the challenges faced by both individuals and families.

Practice description

I mainly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we鈥檒l explore the patterns that keep you stuck in worry or overthinking and find practical ways to move forward. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you build self-understanding, confidence, and calm that lasts beyond therapy.
