About me and my therapy practice
You might look like you鈥檝e got it all together; career, ambition, success. But underneath, you are exhausted. You feel stuck in the cycle of over-giving, people-pleasing, and carrying the emotional load for others. You struggle to say no. You feel guilty when you prioritise yourself and deep down, you鈥檙e wondering 鈥when is it my turn?鈥
You might be at a point in your life where you feel stuck; something is holding you back or troubling you. You may already know what is causing you a problem and you could be looking for a more holistic approach.
I am here to support you in making it your turn without guilt, burnout or losing yourself in the process.
I am BPS and 网爆门 registered and qualified, with both a BSc and MSc in Psychology with over 1000 hours of counselling experience. Also I am a RELATE trained and qualified relationship counsellor who has extensive experience supporting individuals and couples through relationship challenges, communication breakdowns and emotional disconnection.
As a counsellor of Asian Indian heritage, I bring lived understanding of the complexities that come with cultural expectations, generation roles and the emotional weight of family responsibility. I hold particular awareness around:
Intergenerational trauma
Attachment wounds shaped by family and cultural dynamics
The tension between tradition and individuality
Navigating identity and self-worth in the context of cultural norms
These are often deeply rooted and hard to untangle alone.
Counselling can be a powerful, affirming space to make sense of these experiences and reclaim your voice.
I work integratively so that my counselling is 100% bespoke to you and your needs. I combine person-centred, psychodynamic, systemic, humanistic schools of thought to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions in a safe, warm, accepting, non-judgemental space. I support personal growth through raising self-awareness.
