About me and my therapy practice

About Me

I am an Integrative Existential Psychotherapist offering a space to explore who you are, what matters to you, and how you make sense of the world. While my practice is grounded in existential and relational approaches, I also draw from other therapeutic disciplines where these may be helpful, depending on your needs and what you bring to therapy.

An Existential Approach

Existential therapy recognises that uncertainty, anxiety and difficulty are inevitable parts of being human. It invites us to stay present with life’s tensions – the choices, dilemmas and ambiguities that are often overlooked or avoided. In therapy, we can reflect on what your current challenges may be pointing to – how you have come to inhabit your world, how patterns in relationships may feel stuck, and how you might begin to navigate life with greater awareness, connection, or a renewed sense of meaning.

Practice description

Exploring Context and Identity

While our focus begins with your personal experience, we’ll also attend to the wider social, cultural and relational contexts that shape how you see yourself and others. Together, we may look at how family, intergenerational dynamics, gender, race, class, or cultural expectations influence the stories you carry and the ways in which you move through and relate to the world.

How I Work

My approach is non-pathologising and grounded in curiosity and respect for your unique experience. I value the therapeutic relationship as a space where we can reflect honestly and openly on your life – including what may feel painful, confusing or difficult to name.

Training and Research

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ) and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling. Alongside my clinical practice, I am engaged in doctoral research that explores the lived experience of women who have survived sexual trauma. This ongoing work continues to deepen my commitment to a therapeutic practice that is inclusive, reflective and sensitive to the dynamics of power, identity and social context.

What I Offer

I bring a calm and steady presence to the therapeutic space and offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you.
