I offer you a choice to work face to face from a purpose built room with views of the beautiful garden and Alice Holt forest beyond, seated next to a waterfall and pond or whilst out walking in the woods.
The room is wheel chair accessible with access to an accessible toilet.
I also offer sessions online or walk and talk from Caesar's camp.
About me and my therapy practice
I believe in the healing power of nature and its ability to enhance well-being. Research shows that having access to green spaces, even through a window, can significantly speed up recovery in hospital environments. Inspired by this I work from a room with views of a beautiful garden. I am also able to offer outdoor work seated next to a pond and waterfall in the grounds or walking in the forest.
I work from two locations one next to Alice Holt forest and the other next to Caesars camp in Farnham, Surrey.
Alongside my private practice I currently work one day a week as a counsellor in a secondary school.
I have worked with a diverse range of clients both in my private practice and whilst working for Mind in Croydon and Pegasus a men's mental health charity based in Cornwall.
I have a lot of experience with neurodiverse adults and children and have an understanding of sensory processing differences. I will endeavour to adapt our work and the environment to make a welcoming and relaxing space for you.
Practice description
I have training in Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Existential and The Proactive approach for Young people. This allows us to pick and choose the best options when working with you as an individual.
I am able to offer both talking therapy and also more creative work when required. You will be in charge of our work but I offer you choices along the way of things that have been proven helpful to others in the past.
I can offer psychoeducation around techniques and theories that may be beneficial to you making sense of how you are feeling.
I believe in a holistic approach to health and well being and can offer support and advice about possible changes to sleep, exercise and diet if you would like them.
My first session
I offer a free 20 min appointment either online or over the telephone where we have the opportunity to get to know one another and you can ask any questions about the way I work. This will also be an opportunity for you to give me an idea about what you are seeking from therapy and we can see if I am the best person to help you with this.

About me and my therapy practice
Counselling with Care and Compassion
Helping you find clarity, connection, and resilience
Life can be tough, and we all struggle at times. When things feel overwhelming, it can be difficult to open up to those closest to us — especially when they're emotionally involved. Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can begin to explore what’s happening, understand how it’s affecting you, and work on strategies to help you cope and feel more like yourself again.
About Me
I am a qualified counsellor with experience supporting both adults and children through a wide range of emotional challenges. My work has included roles with:
Mind – supporting adult mental health
Pegasus – a men's mental health charity
Place2Be – counselling children and young people in schools
Private practice – offering flexible, tailored support to individuals
Clients struggling with:
Long-term or life-limiting illness
Caring responsibilities for partners or children
Depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem
Bereavement and loss
Childhood trauma and abuse
Workplace and relationship issues
Neurodiversity
Emotional regulation and mood difficulties
Trauma, abuse, and bullying
Relationship struggles
Low self-esteem and identity issues
My Approach
I work in a person-centred way, meaning our sessions will focus on you — the unique, wonderful person you are. We'll work together to build a trusting relationship where you feel truly heard and understood. Alongside this, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your needs, including creative methods if you'd prefer to explore things beyond just talking.
Practice description
I work from two locations in Surrey:
Central Farnham – a convenient town-centre location
Near Alice Holt Forest – a tranquil, nature-based setting with accessible facilities and private parking
Alongside my private practice, I also work as a counsellor in a secondary school one day a week, supporting young people with a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
How I Work
My core training is in Person-Centred Therapy, which means you lead the pace and direction of our work. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and I aim to offer a supportive, respectful space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely.
To meet each client’s unique needs, I integrate theory and techniques from:
Psychodynamic Therapy
Gestalt Therapy
Existential Therapy
The Proactive Approach for Young People
This allows us to draw on a wide range of tools and perspectives and tailor our work to suit you.
I offer both traditional talking therapy and more creative approaches when helpful — such as using imagery, objects, drawing, or working with metaphor. You will always be in control of the process, but I can offer suggestions and insights from methods that have helped others in similar situations.
A Holistic Approach
I also offer psychoeducation — sharing knowledge about psychological theories or practical techniques that can help you make sense of what you're experiencing.
I believe in the healing power of nature and its ability to support emotional well-being. Inspired by this, I offer counselling from a peaceful room overlooking a beautiful garden, as well as opportunities for outdoor sessions — either seated beside a pond and waterfall or walking in the surrounding forest. These natural settings can bring a sense of calm, perspective, and connection, which can be deeply therapeutic.
If you're considering counselling, you don’t have to have all the answers — just a willingness to begin. I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace.
