About me and my therapy practice
I work integratively, blending elements of person-centred therapy, CBT and psychodynamic therapy. But at the core of my work is this:- I will meet you where you are, without judgement and support you in finding your path.
I believe counselling is not about fixing you, because you are not broken. It is about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Sessions with me are gentle but honest. I will move at your pace, and you are always in control of your sessions. I will also support you in building confidence, self-worth and finding your voice.
I support people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally exhausted, especially those who are experiencing anxiety, grief, low self-worth or who are questioning who they are. If you have ever quietly questioned your worth, felt unseen or found yourself carrying more than you can say out loud, you are not alone. I will meet you with warmth, compassion and a safe space where you can discuss whatever you need to.
I have experience working long-term with neurodiverse clients, and I have neurodiverse family members, so I understand the struggles that can arise.
Practice description
I offer 50-minute 1-1 counselling sessions online via Google Meet.
Sessions are priced at £45 or £40 when booked in a block of 10 or more. I also offer a free 20-minute consultation video call to see if we are a good fit before committing.
My first session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see how it feels to work together. I'll offer a gentle overview of what you can expect in our sessions and take a few minutes to run through a simple counselling contract, which includes confidentiality and session format. You are welcome to ask any questions, share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and let the session unfold at your pace. There is no pressure to commit beyond this point - it is your space and i will support you in making the right decision forn you.
