I have new available times for psychotherapy online, only for adult psychodynamic psychotherapy and child psychotherapy.
About me and my therapy practice
I have worked within the NHS Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Services and can see people privately in the Harley Street Clinic and online. My training includes a Psychodynamic Counselling and Skills in a Psychosocial Framework (CertHE) and an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am furthering my expertise by undertaking an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Counselling, which will allow me to support children, adolescents, and families.
Many people seek therapy when they struggle to make sense of their emotions or challenges, such as anxiety or depression, and find themselves feeling stuck or unwell. My role is to help individuals gain deeper self-awareness, uncover underlying patterns, and explore the internal and relational barriers affecting their well-being.
My clinical experience includes working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, neurodiversity, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, and personality-related difficulties, among other concerns. I also have experience facilitating women’s support groups focused on issues such as co-dependency, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Some individuals benefit from short-term therapy, while others may find longer-term, more intensive work helpful. I offer a confidential and supportive environment where we can explore what feels most helpful for you.
Practice description
Psychodynamic therapy consists of regular one-on-one sessions with me, typically once or more per week, each lasting 50 minutes.
When someone comes to see me for psychodynamic psychotherapy and relational therapy, they can expect a safe, confidential space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Our work together will focus on understanding how past relationships and unconscious patterns influence present behaviours and emotions. Through a collaborative process, we’ll explore both the conscious and unconscious aspects of their inner world, emphasising the therapeutic relationship as a healing tool. The goal is to develop deeper self-awareness, gain insight into relational dynamics, and ultimately create meaningful changes in their emotional well-being and life choices.
My first session
The initial consultation is an opportunity for us to explore your reasons for seeking therapy and to consider whether psychodynamic psychotherapy could be beneficial for you. This process usually takes place over several sessions, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of your history and current difficulties. It also gives you the chance to experience therapy and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me. Many people find these initial sessions to be insightful, thought-provoking, and an important step in their therapeutic journey.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs, please feel free to get in touch.
