About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Hayley and I'm a person-centred therapist and breathwork coach, with a background in trauma and storytelling.
Person-centred therapy means I'm led by you. You bring whatever you want to our sessions and I'll help you explore your thoughts, feelings, hopes, fears and struggles at your own pace.
There may be something specific you're struggling with, or changes you want to make in your life, or maybe you just want to understand yourself better. Whatever it is, I'm here to support you.
I’m passionate about helping people connect with their true selves and live more empowered lives.
We can lose ourselves in other people's opinions, society's expectations and negative experiences. When we connect with our true selves, we can experience healing, feel more confident, navigate difficult situations with clarity and peace, and make choices that lead to a happier life.
I have particular experience of supporting women who have experienced abuse and trauma.
Practice description
I'm a genuine, caring, curious person who always sees the best in people and that shows in my therapy work.
My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel accepted, seen, understood, and safe to share anything - even the parts of yourself you've kept hidden.
It's my hope that through our work together you'll gain more self-awareness, clarity and self-compassion and be able to make choices in your life that feel right for you.
I'm the kind of person who's always learning and I've done additional training & qualifications in trauma, breathwork, therapeutic storytelling, bibliotherapy and somatic therapy.
So, for clients who are interested, I'm always happy to share ideas, insights and tools that might help them.
My first session
I know how important it is to find the right therapist, and I offer a free 15 minute phone call so you can see how you feel with me. We'll talk about what you'd like to get from therapy, and I can answer any questions you have about how I work.
If you decide you'd like to start therapy with me, we'll arrange our first session.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and can be weekly or bi-weekly.
