About me and my therapy practice
About me
I believe psychotherapy offers a space to be heard, understood, and to explore concerns and unconscious blocks to wellbeing. My practice is shaped by both professional and lived experience. I welcome diversity and offer a safe, confidential environment to explore difficult emotions. Alongside private practice, I’ve worked with counselling charities including LGBTQIA+ services, supporting adults of all ages, backgrounds, and those who are neurodivergent.
How I Work
I support clients facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Whatever you're experiencing, I offer a safe, confidential, and inclusive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions with empathy and compassion.
Drawing on both my clinical training and lived experience, I help you deepen your understanding of your inner world. Through this process, you can begin to develop a kinder acceptance of yourself, shift unhelpful emotional patterns, and feel more grounded and connected.
I value the individuality of each person I work with and tailor my approach to suit your unique needs. We’ll regularly check in to ensure the pace and direction feel right for you.
If you have any questions about how therapy works, I’ll be happy to talk them through with you.
Practice description
I work online with individual adults who are 18 years and over for 50 minute sessions.
The sessions can be for a short, target focused period or for a longer term. I have an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Birkbeck university.
My first session
Initial Consultation
I offer a free initial consultation to explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. This is also an opportunity for me to explain how I work and for us to consider whether we’re a good fit to continue together. Consultations can take place by phone or video call—whichever feels most comfortable for you.
