About me and my therapy practice
I offer online therapy in English or in French with the choice of many platforms; Teams, WhatsApp, FaceTime or Skype.
Therapy is a valuable opportunity to express yourself freely, gain clarity, and explore new ways of achieving your goals and feeling happier. There will be space to explore the challenges you’re experiencing, at a pace that feels right for you. I will be there to support you every step of the way.
My approach is holistic, bringing attention to both emotional and physical wellbeing. I believe deeply in the connection between mind and body, and in how our experiences and any trauma we have faced can shape both. During my session, we will work towards understanding and healing in a way that supports your whole self.
I always start by focusing on the present moment and what brings you to therapy. Past experiences will often surface naturally during the process. By addressing current symptoms and challenges first, you can become better equipped to understand and work through past traumas in a grounded and empowering way.
With your input and my expertise, we will create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals, making your therapy experience truly collaborative and individual.
We will work towards developing self-acceptance and resilience, helping you connect with your inner strengths to overcome unresolved emotional issues. After only a few sessions, you will feel that you will have gain and developed the right tools and resources to live a happier life.
Practice description
I am a registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering sessions in both English and French. Drawing on Gestalt, Person-Centred, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches, I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences safely.
Life can bring unexpected challenges, traumas, and disappointments. I primarily work with individuals facing emotional and mental health difficulties such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and anger management. Many of my clients also experience low self-esteem, communication difficulties, or challenges in relationships.
I work on an individual basis with clients from all backgrounds and all ages and I am also very aware of how challenging it can feel to open up in therapy, especially when you come from an ethnic minority or LGBTQ+ background. Finding someone who truly understands your experiences and identity can make a big difference. I have a strong understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, ethnic minority experiences, and identity-related challenges. My aim is to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and comfortable to share your story. With my knowledge and experience, I’ll work with you to find the therapeutic approach that best supports your needs.
I also have extensive experience working with neurodivergent clients. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years as a teacher, supporting students with a wide range of neurodiverse profiles, especially ADHD and ASD. This background has given me a deep understanding of the different ways people think, learn, and experience the world. In my therapy practice, I bring this awareness to create a space that is accepting, flexible, and responsive to each person’s unique way of being.
My goal is to help you feel understood, and supported in expressing your authentic self.
My first session
Your first session is a free 30-minute meeting. During this time, I’ll get to know you a little, carry out an initial assessment, and explain the terms and conditions of the therapy contract. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about your needs, expectations, or how therapy might work for you.
After this initial session, you’re welcome to take your time to decide whether you’d like to continue. If you choose to book further sessions, these will be 50 minutes long.
There’s absolutely no pressure — it’s all about what feels right for you.
