About me and my therapy practice
Welcome,
I am Manju Botha, a qualified Integrative Counsellor.
I understand life at times can make us feel overwhelmed and burdened, where we are unable to cope day-to-day. Maybe you have experienced loss or are struggling with decision-making in the face of challenging events or an unexpected life change. Perhaps you don’t know where to turn to, who to talk to and feel incredibly isolated or stuck. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can gain a deeper understanding of your issues, together, we can explore this to help you gain clarity, create change and a balanced fulfilling life.
At Manju Botha Therapy I will help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I will help you gain clarity and understanding to overcome the issues you are facing, along with tools and techniques enabling you to achieve growth through greater self-awareness, and to create change and a balanced fulfilling life.
As an integrative counsellor I use various therapeutic approaches that tailor our sessions to your unique needs to empower you to overcome your difficulties. I have helped clients across a range of issues such as anxiety and depression, self-harm, domestic abuse, relationship struggles and trauma. It’s very reassuring to witness the transformation through the counselling process.

Practice description
Beginning therapy and finding the right professional to talk to can feel daunting at first. I offer a free telephone consultation; this is an opportunity for you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me and for me to understand your goals and what you would like to gain from our sessions together. I can also offer a free online video call.
My practice is built around you and I will work with you to help you feel comfortable.
My first session
Your first session is the beginning of our work together, so I continue to assess information gathering to get an overall bigger picture. We work at your own pace and build a partnership of trust as well as identifying any therapeutic goals.What I can help with
