About me and my therapy practice
I am fully trained in person centred therapy which I can offer Face-to-Face, and remotely- via online or telephone. This is offered from ages 18 and above. I currently work at MIND, as a counsellor, working with a range of common and complex mental health issues including depression, anxiety, grief, low self- esteem, relationship challenges and more.
I know first hand how hard life’s struggles can feel, which is why I am so passionate about helping others. With four years of study, I dedicated myself in changing my circumstances, and now I use both my personal and professional experiences to support others on their own path to healing and transformation.
In our sessions, you’ll find a safe and non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward positive change. I am here to listen and facilitate a supportive environment for you to find your own answers, and search for what is right for you. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of resilience and the potential for growth in everyone.
Practice description
I have studied for 4 years in person centred therapy. I have obtained a qualification in therapeutic counselling, allowing me to practice as a fully qualified counsellor.
My background includes counselling roles with Basildon MIND and the Probation Service, where I provided support to individuals navigating complex emotional and psychological issues. Additionally, I have worked within the NHS in a forensic mental health inpatient facility, offering care to those with severe mental health challenges.
These experiences, combined with my formal training, have equipped me with a deep understanding of the intricacies of mental health and the importance of compassionate, individualized care. I also hold a Care Certificate, further demonstrating my commitment to maintaining the highest standards in my work.
In our counselling sessions, I provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe in the innate capacity for personal growth and healing within every individual, and my goal is to empower you to find your own path to well-being. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other life challenges, I am here to support you every step of the way.
My first session
In our first we will go over the contract, then explore why you feel the need for counselling at this time, and what it is you wish to obtain from therapy.
It is a nice relaxing session, pressure free. Remember, the sessions are about you, and they are for you, I am here to support you in any way you need.

Practice description
A fully trained Person-Centred Therapist offering counselling for adults aged 18 and over, both face-to-face and remotely (online or by phone). I also draw on other therapeutic approaches to suit each client’s individual and evolving needs.
My first session
The first session we will go over why you feel you need therapy at this time and what you would like to achieve going forward. We will have a check in every 6 weeks to give you the change to navigate the direction of the sessions
