About me and my therapy practice
Relationships, Anger & Anxiety Specialist – Bradford & Online
Hi, I’m James — a friendly, down-to-earth Counsellor with a passion for supporting people struggling with relationships, anger, or anxiety. I work with empathy and care, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can be heard, supported, and truly understood.
I know how overwhelming life can feel — I’ve been there myself. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you're facing, and help you reconnect with the answers that are already within you.
I’ve worked with people from all walks of life on issues such as grief, loss of identity, low self-esteem, depression, addiction, trauma, stress, burnout, and relationship difficulties. Everyone I work with is valued as a unique individual, and I tailor my approach to suit your needs and pace.
I offer a compassionate space to reflect, explore, and grow. My aim isn’t to tell you what to do, but to help you find clarity, direction, and relief through a supportive therapeutic relationship. Whether it’s tears, laughter, or silence — all parts of you are welcome here.
Sessions are available in person at my cosy counselling room in Bradford (typically 15–20 minutes from most areas nearby), or online via secure video call. I offer a free initial telephone consultation and a reduced-fee first session, giving you a chance to see how we might work together.
I hold a Distinction in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy from Lancaster University, and I’m passionate about offering meaningful, one-to-one support. You’ll receive the best of who I am, every step of the way.
If something here resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you.
With warmth,
James
Practice description
Whilst I work with a wide range of challenges, I see many clients who might be struggling with anxiety, self confidence issues and / or depression.
