About me and my therapy practice
Life can look successful on the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. Many men carry silent pressure 鈥 to stay strong, to keep going, to provide, to 鈥渟ort it out鈥 themselves. Over time, this can lead to exhaustion, frustration, disconnection, or a sense that things should feel better than they do. These challenges can quietly affect work, relationships, emotional health, and overall wellbeing.
I offer a confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly without judgement. Whether you experience anxiety, depression, stress, anger, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, or a loss of direction, you don鈥檛 have to face it alone. I鈥檓 here to help you understand what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been suppressed or forgotten.
I work from a trauma-informed perspective, recognising how early experiences and past events shape current patterns of coping, relating, and behaving. Building trust and a sense of safety is central to our work together.
My approach is holistic and integrative, supporting both mind and body. I draw from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and somatic practices to help you increase emotional awareness, regulate stress, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Together, we work at your pace to build resilience, clarity, and a more grounded sense of personal strength.
If you鈥檙e ready to take a step toward change 鈥 to feel more connected, more in control, and more yourself 鈥 I鈥檓 here to support you on that journey.
Practice description
Every person鈥檚 path is unique 鈥 especially for men who have learned to stay strong, stay silent, or carry the load without asking for help. I tailor my approach to your individual needs, helping you make sense of your experiences and develop practical ways to cope with stress, relationships, and emotional challenges. Together, we work to build resilience so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Counselling offers a private space where you can speak openly 鈥 perhaps for the first time 鈥 about what鈥檚 really happening beneath the surface. You will be listened to, understood, and supported without judgement. Whether you鈥檙e facing a specific difficulty or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, I provide a calm, professional environment where you can explore your concerns at your own pace.
Alongside counselling, I also offer coaching for clients who want to focus on performance, mindset, leadership, and personal development. This can be especially beneficial for men balancing high pressure, career demands, and the expectation to always have it together. Coaching supports you in moving toward clear goals and creating meaningful change in both your personal and professional life.
My work is collaborative. I respect your autonomy and support you in taking an active role in your own healing and growth. We will identify patterns that are no longer serving you, strengthen emotional awareness, and create more effective strategies for managing stress, relationships, and personal challenges.
Reaching out can feel like the hardest step 鈥 especially when you鈥檙e used to coping alone. But choosing support is a powerful act of strength. If you are ready to reconnect with yourself, improve how you feel day-to-day, and step forward with confidence, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you.
My first session
Your first 60-minute session is focused on creating a safe, calm environment where you can begin to talk about what鈥檚 brought you here 鈥 at a pace that feels right for you.
We will explore the challenges you are currently facing, what you would like support with, and what you hope to gain from therapy or coaching. I will take time to listen carefully and understand your goals, so we can decide together how best to work moving forward.
This session also gives you space to ask questions, get a feel for my approach, and ensure that the support I provide feels like a good fit for you. It鈥檚 the beginning of building a trusting professional relationship where you feel comfortable expressing yourself openly.
If you have any questions or concerns ahead of your appointment, please don鈥檛 hesitate to get in touch.
I also offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can briefly connect, discuss what you鈥檙e looking for, and explore whether working together would be the right next step.
