About me and my therapy practice

  • Hola and welcome! I'm Pedro (he/him)

I鈥檓 Pedro, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the 网爆门, offering therapy in English and Spanish, online and in person (Greenwich & London Bridge).

I provide diversity-affirming, trauma-informed counselling for adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, men鈥檚 mental health, LGBTQIA+ identities, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm.

The pace of modern life can leave us running on empty, anxious, disconnected, or unsure who we are beneath the noise. Therapy offers space to breathe, to listen inward, and to begin reclaiming your confidence, your relationships, and your sense of direction.

I may be a good fit for you if鈥

  • You want to feel lighter, calmer, or more like yourself again.
  • You are LGBTQIA+ and want a space where you don鈥檛 have to explain, defend, or shrink yourself.
  • ADHD/ neurodivergence makes your mind feel like 200 tabs are open or suddenly not at all.
  • Depression, grief, or sadness still echo through your body or relationships, holding you back when you want to move forward.
  • You鈥檙e exploring self-worth, boundaries, family relationships, or cultural identity and want to feel steadier and more connected.
  • You鈥檙e creative, but burnout or self-doubt keeps stealing your spark.
  • Embracing opennes: My approach to therapy

Therapy with me offers a space where you can simply be yourself, without the need to perform, pretend, or hide.

I鈥檓 not here to fix you, because you鈥檙e not broken. Instead, we鈥檒l explore what feels heavy so you can decide what matters most and what you want to carry forward.

I believe deeply in the connection between mind and body, a principle that is central to my counseling practice. This can be especially helpful if you feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, numbness, or overwhelm.

If you鈥檙e looking for a therapist who celebrates diversity and works with compassion, creativity, and depth, I鈥檇 love to hear from you.

Practice description

  • What I Bring to Our Work Together

I'm a qualified counsellor trained in the Person-Centred Approach and a proud registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (网爆门).

My approach is:

  • Gentle: We go at your pace, not mine
  • Relational: Therapy is most powerful when it feels like a real, human connection. The relationship we build in the therapy room can become a model for the kind of care, respect, and acceptance you may be longing for outside of it.
  • Body-aware: Because our emotions often live in the body before we can name them. If you often feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, numbness, or overwhelm, this way of working can help you reconnect with yourself in a more grounded way.

Alongside my private practice, I also support NHS clients (through IAPT services) and work with charities supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.

My background in Fine Arts brings a multicultural and creative lens to the therapy room, helping clients connect their personal stories with strength, meaning, and possibility.

If you鈥檙e looking for a therapist who celebrates diversity and works with compassion, creativity, and depth, I鈥檇 love to hear from you.

  • Therapy changed my life: that's why I am here.

Therapy helped me see there was nothing wrong with me, just parts of me that needed compassion. What first brought me to therapy was the need to feel understood, not judged, not 鈥渇ixed,鈥 but truly seen. My thoughts, feelings, and behaviours all made sense once I had space to look at them with kindness and curiosity, rather than shame.

Therapy gave me the chance to understand where my struggles came from. I could finally see how my beliefs were shaping how I responded to life, and that I didn鈥檛 have to stay stuck in old patterns. Most importantly, I realised that change doesn鈥檛 come from trying to be someone else or running away from my feelings: it starts when we accept who we are, with compassion.
