I offer therapy online and in person on Thursdays, offering a supportive, calm space to help you explore challenges and make positive change.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with people experiencing ADHD, anxiety, autism, self‑esteem difficulties, stress, low mood, or periods of feeling stuck. My approach is person‑centred, which means you are at the heart of our sessions. I offer empathy, warmth, and a safe, non‑judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
Working integratively, I adapt to what suits you best, drawing on different approaches to support your unique needs. At times, I may use CBT techniques to gently explore unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, helping you to develop fresh perspectives, build resilience, and discover new ways forward.
I aim to support you in building confidence, self‑understanding, and lasting positive change, so you can feel more grounded, hopeful, and able to move towards the life you want.
Practice description
In my practice, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind—without judgment. Together, we’ll take a collaborative approach, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. I draw on different therapeutic techniques to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward the changes that feel meaningful to you.
You might be facing stress, anxiety, challenges in your relationships, struggles with confidence, or life changes that feel overwhelming. You may also want space to focus on your growth. Whatever brings you here, I provide a supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is grounded in empathy, honesty, and respect, so we can work together in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful for you. Your experiences and story are important, and I aim to help you feel more confident in making choices that reflect your values and what truly matters to you.
Our sessions are guided by openness and trust, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. You can expect a professional yet compassionate relationship where your well-being always comes first—and where every step forward, no matter how small, is valued as part of your journey.
My first session
In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel at ease and supported while sharing what brought you to therapy. This session is a little different from the ones that follow—it’s really about getting to know you, your current situation, and what you hope to gain from our time together.
We’ll usually start with a relaxed conversation. I may ask about your background, personal history, and any challenges you’d like to talk about. This helps me understand what you need so we can shape our sessions around your goals. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you. Many people find that even just taking this first step can bring a sense of relief.
I’ll also go over the practical side of things like how long sessions last, how often we meet, confidentiality, and fees so you know what to expect. If you’d like, we can use this first session to set some initial goals, or we can focus on whatever feels most important to you right now.
Starting therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I approach first sessions with patience, openness, and respect for where you are on your journey
