About me and my therapy practice

I am an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist focused on providing a supportive and empathetic therapy environment.

Every client is unique, so I approach psychotherapy as a deeply personal journey. Together, we will find a rhythm that feels comfortable for you, ensuring that the pace of our work aligns with your individual needs. I emphasise creating a warm, trusting environment where you can feel safe exploring and growing. My goal is to support you in your journey toward change and self-discovery every step of the way.

Practice description

My practice is firmly grounded in Bowlby’s attachment theory, which emphasises the importance of understanding intimacy, attachment, and relationships. By integrating these insights with aspects of psychoanalysis, we can subtly unveil unconscious processes, providing you with a richer understanding. I prioritise fostering an open, trusting therapeutic relationship that supports growth and change when needed.

My first session

I am pleased to offer a reduced-rate initial consultation so you can meet with me and explore how psychotherapy might benefit you.

When beginning psychotherapy, I will dedicate the first six sessions to establishing a trusting relationship and gaining a clearer understanding of your needs. During these sessions, I will also carry out a discreet and thorough assessment to ensure the best match for both of us.
