About me and my therapy practice

I am Natallie. I am an integrative counsellor with a background of over 20 years in workplace personal development equipping me with skills which complement my counselling training, allowing me to offer a nuanced and practical approach to therapy. My practice offers an empowering and supportive space for individuals seeking personal growth and wellbeing. I draw upon well established therapeutic modalities including Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Person Centred, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)to tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals.

By integrating these diverse perspectives, I aim to provide a holistic understanding of your experiences. We may explore patterns from your past, focus on your present moment awareness and how you make contact with others, emphasise your inherent capacity for growth and self acceptance and develop practical strategies to manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

I am here to create an environment where you feel safe to explore your challenges, gain deeper self-awareness, and help bring meaningful change in your life. Whether you are navigating specific difficulties or seeking a greater a greater sense of fulfillment, I am here to support you on your journey.

Practice description

You can expect a collaborative and active process in our sessions. Depending on what feels most helpful and aligned with your goals, our work might involve:

Exploring patterns and discussing how past experiences may be influencing your present thoughts, feelings and relationships.

Bringing awareness to the present moment giving attention to your sensations, emotions and how you interact with your environment.

Encouraging self-acceptance and growth by creating a space that recognises your worth and nurtures potential for positive change.

Identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and developing better coping strategies.

Trying out different behaviours and perspectives in a safe and supportive setting.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a driver for healing and growth, and I am committed to providing a confidential and ethical space for you to explore what matters most to you. 

My first session

Our first meeting is an opportunity to get to know each other and for you to share what brings you to therapy. 

I offer a free 15 minute session so that you can assess if we are a good fit.
