About me and my therapy practice

Working therapeutically, I support clients through challenges such as grief, anxiety, low mood, stress and change.

My background includes working in a hospice,  where I have supported bereaved clients, offering a space to process grief.

I have worked in school settings, helping children and adolescents navigate their emotional landscapes.

I work with children and young people in the care system helping them to discover who they are and their true worth ensuring they achieve their potential.

By supporting parents and carers who wish to explore parenting issues or challenges, I want to improve and enhance their family dynamics.

I am here to support you through various challenges, including:

• Anxiety: I can help you develop coping strategies and find relief, whether it's daily worries or overwhelming feelings.

• Stress: Life’s pressures can be daunting; together, we can explore the sources of your stress and create a plan to manage it effectively.

• Low Mood: If you’re feeling down or lacking motivation, I will work with you to identify underlying issues and find a more positive outlook.

• Bereavement: Grieving can be a profound and personal journey. I provide a safe space to process your feelings and memories, helping you navigate this difficult time.

• Parenting Challenges: I understand the complexities of parenting and can assist you in addressing family dynamics, communication issues, and the emotional needs of your children.

My aim is to empower you to rediscover your strengths and build the life you envision. Together, we’ll work toward creating resilience, personal growth, and the fulfilment you seek.

Be the person you want to be.

Practice description

A Warm and Friendly Space

I offer a warm, empathetic space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. My integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs, incorporating techniques from humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches and life coaching principles. I aim to support clients wherever they are emotionally, fostering resilience and encouraging personal growth.

My experience spans across age groups and backgrounds. I work with adults, supporting them through challenges such as stress, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem issues, grief, and loss. I also work with children, young people, parents, and carers, including those involved in fostering and adoption, addressing issues unique to each stage of life. This includes bereavement, divorce and family dynamics.

I use an integrative, person-centred approach, adapting therapy to align with each client’s emotional state and needs. I also incorporate life coaching techniques to support personal development and practical goal setting.

I offer therapy in several formats:

Face-to-face from my home in Beckenham.

Remotely via Zoom or phone.

Walk-and-talk sessions in local parks around Beckenham and Crystal Palace.

About me and my therapy practice

I became a counsellor because I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported through life’s challenges. My own journey has shown me the importance of having a safe,     non-judgmental space to explore feelings and make sense of difficult experiences.

My approach is integrative and underpinned by person-centred values. This means I listen closely to what you need and tailor each session to you. Together, we can explore what’s troubling you at your own pace, in a way that feels safe and supportive.

I work with anxiety, grief, stress, relationship issues or those who simply want to feel more fulfilled and connected in their lives. Clients often describe me as calm, warm, and down-to-earth. I bring curiosity and compassion into the room, and will challenge when it feels helpful.

Alongside my adult work, I also support children and young people, including those in the care system. Support with managing friendships, family changes, academic pressures, or strong emotions. Counselling gives the opportunity to express, build resilience, and promote confidence.

I offer sessions face-to-face, online, by phone, and through      walk-and-talk therapy in London's parks and green spaces.

Most importantly, I want to help you find happiness!

Practice description

I work face-to-face from my private garden office in Beckenham—a calm and welcoming space away from everyday demands. For some, being in the same room feels important. For others, video or phone sessions provide greater flexibility, especially when travel, health, or time commitments get in the way.

I also offer walk-and-talk therapy in London’s green spaces. Walking side by side in nature can feel more natural and ease the flow of conversation. Fresh air, gentle movement, and open surroundings can lift mood and reduce anxiety. Sessions are relaxed and flexible—we might take a stroll, pause on a bench, or even stop for a coffee. Recent walks have been in Crystal Palace Park, Dulwich Park, and Kensington Gardens.
