About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative therapist with over three years of experience. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences safely.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. I draw from humanistic, compassion-focused, and solution-focused methods of therapy, and in some cases elements of cognitive behavioural skills and inner child work, where appropriate.
I support clients with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic illness (such as cancer), low self-esteem, and stress. My particular focus is fostering self-compassion, resilience, and personal growth throughout my work.
I work in a variety of ways, such as one-to-one, group therapy, online, or walk and talk therapy. My ultimate aim is to empower my clients to connect with inner strengths and discover practical solutions to life’s difficulties.
Practice description
I practice in a calm and welcoming therapy space in Pill, Bristol. This space offers a peaceful and private environment for in-person sessions. It also offers beautiful and secluded gardens for walk and talk therapy, should you prefer.
My therapy room is designed to feel warm and comfortable, with soft lighting and space for reflection, helping you to feel safe and at ease as we work together.
I also offer online sessions for those who prefer or require remote support.
My first session
We will begin our counselling journey with a free 10 minute call to discuss availibilty, rates, and book in an assessment.
During the assessment we will go through why you are seeking therapy, your history and what you hope to gain from seeking counselling. I will share how I work, answer any questions.
Our initial sessions following this assessment will be centred on curiosity and collaboration. Together we will explore the reasons that brought you to therapy, your goals, and what feels most important for you at this stage, and begin to shape a therapy plan that feels supportive and manageable.
As our relationship develops, I adapt my approach so that therapy continues to meet your evolving needs and discoveries along the way.
