About me and my therapy practice
Life can feel overwhelming at times with demands on you from relationships, work and difficult life events or just a sense that something is not right and you need to find a new way forward. You may be feeling anxious, depressed, stressed or lacking confidence in yourself. Maybe you have suffered bereavement, loss or trauma. It can take courage to reach out for support, but you will be met by me with empathy and acceptance. My aim is to hear how life is for you.
I work with clients who are 16 and over. Always with a non-judgmental approach, I can help you explore and gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I will work alongside you to find ways to make changes and help you to gain a sense of balance in life that can make you feel better.
Working relationally means that my relationship with you will be at the heart of our work together. I integrate psychotherapeutic theory so that the therapy I provide is personal and meaningful to you, tailored to your needs.
A person-centred approach forms the basis of my work, guided by your experience and the direction that you take. My knowledge of attachment theory informs how we can think about relationships, in the past, currently and how they may be in the future. I have had training in Transactional Analysis which informs how we can view relationships and our interactions with others and find ways to make change.
Practice description
Once you have made contact with me via email or text, we can arrange a convenient time for us to speak for 15 minutes with no charge or obligation on either side. If we feel that working together is going to be the way forward, we can book our first appointment together.

I am a qualified relational counsellor and psychotherapist, with experience of working with clients of 16 and over. Working relationally, I keep the relationship between us at the heart of our work together. I integrate psychotherapeutic theory so that the therapy I provide is personal and meaningful to you, tailored to your needs. A person-centred approach forms the basis of my work, guided by your experience and the direction that you take. I bring knowledge of attachment theory which looks at the way our past relationships affect the way we maintain current ones. Working with this, we can learn from our patterns and find ways to make change. I have had training in Transactional Analysis which provides tools to evaluate our communication and interaction with others and find effective alternative ways of being.
Always with a non-judgmental approach, I can help you explore and gain insight into your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I will work alongside you to find ways to make changes and help you to gain a sense of balance in life that can make you feel better.
