About me and my therapy practice
Have you ever felt lonely, lost, or like no one truly understands what you're going through? Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, and taking the first step to seek help is not always easy — it takes courage. If you're here, you've already shown strength, and I'm here to support you.
I'm a qualified integrative counsellor from Hong Kong, holding a master's degree in counselling from the UK. Growing up in Hong Kong and training in the UK, I understand how culture and life changes affect how we see the world. Whether you're adjusting to a new place, feeling homesick, or searching for belonging, I offer a culturally sensitive, caring, and non-judgmental space where you can be truly heard.
I offer therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and welcome clients from all backgrounds. Sessions are available face-to-face in the Manchester area, or online via video or phone, with flexible availability including some weekends.
As an integrative therapist, I adapt my approach to suit your needs. My role is to listen with care and understanding, and to co-create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Practice description
I believe there's no one-size-fits-all path to healing, and every person is different. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic approach, and mindfulness to tailor our sessions to your individual needs and goals.
Some people may need space to explore deep feelings, while others may want practical tools to manage everyday stress or anxiety. I'll work collaboratively with you to find the right pace and style.
You can expect a calm, supportive space where you'll be listened to with care and without judgment. Together, we can begin to untangle what's troubling you, develop new insights, and help you feel more grounded and in control.
I have experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, identity exploration, and significant life transitions. I also work with individuals navigating academic or workplace pressures, emotional overwhelm, cultural adjustment, and the lasting impact of childhood trauma.
Whatever you're going through, therapy can be a space just for you to feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.
My first session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see how we might work together. I’ll gently ask you some questions to learn more about your background, current challenges, and what’s brought you to counselling. There’s no pressure to prepare anything, we’ll just have a relaxed conversation where you can share whatever feels comfortable.
We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to achieve from therapy, and you’re welcome to ask me any questions about how I work or what to expect. This session is really about making sure you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very start.
Before we begin, I’ll send over a short counselling agreement for you to read and sign. This just helps explain things like confidentiality and session details, so we both have a clear understanding of how we’ll work together.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, including the first one. If you have any questions or need to check availability, feel free to get in touch — I’m happy to help. I look forward to meeting you.
