Hello, I'm Kane - an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ).
I offer both long-term and short-term work, available face-to-face and online. My availability is as follows:
Thursday, Friday, morning, afternoon and evening.
Saturday morning.
I offer a free 20-minute chat to explore your goals and expectations of therapy.
About me and my therapy practice
Whatever you're facing, you don't have to face it alone. I offer a warm, affirming space where you can speak freely without shame or judgment. As an integrative psychotherapist with experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients and people from all walks of life, I’ll help you untangle what’s holding you back, make sense of difficult emotions, and move towards healing, confidence, and change.
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck — caught in cycles of self-doubt, inner conflict, or pulled in different directions by parts of themselves that seem to want opposite things. Together, we can explore and bring compassion to these inner tensions, so that instead of battling with yourself, you begin to feel more whole, more at peace, and more able to move forward in life in a way that feels authentic to you.
My practice is based in Barking Riverside IG11 offering in-person and online sessions. With a Master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and over 3 years’ experience working with clients, I believe the journey to healing is through authentic human connection, which is why my approach is deeply rooted in relational psychotherapy.
Having attended therapy myself, I have experienced the therapeutic relationship that supported me during a time when I struggled to feel connected in a world that didn’t seem made for me. I now offer this authentic relationship to clients in my practice to help them when they feel disconnected from the world.
I deeply respect diversity, having worked with people from different backgrounds, ages, genders and sexualities. As diverse as the people I’ve worked with, so are the challenges they bring, such as anxiety, depression, stress, relational conflicts, neurodiversity (ADHD/autism), identity exploration (including sexuality and gender, LGBTQ+), and finding belonging.
Therapy with me will be a collaborative, holistic and relational process where we will work together, considering your physical, emotional, and social well-being.
