About me and my therapy practice
Integrating a range of psychotherapeutic approaches, I provide a safe and welcoming space to come up for air, and at the same time to dive deeper into yourself - to nurture and empower yourself from a place of depth and understanding.
At times it can feel as though we are isolated or misunderstood, in dread or despair, overwhelmed or stuck. I see my role and purpose as to facilitate contact with your own inner healing wisdom, to guide you back to feeling centred in your life, with a genuine and compassionate understanding of just how difficult things can get along the way.
At the core of my practice is the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist, cultivating awareness and clarity through relational therapy intention. I am first and foremost here alongside you, to listen attentively and compassionately, always with your best interests in mind.

Integrative approach
Integrative therapy is the coming together of multiple therapeutic approaches adapted and combined in a way that best serves you as a unique human being. I am trained theoretically and therapeutically in Psychodynamic, Existential, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Attachment and Gestalt approaches among others, always working from a Person-Centred base.
Sessions lean into immediacy with a focus on what arises in the present moment, whilst honouring and working toward your goals, cultivating clarity and self-compassion over time. This is supported by an empathetic exploration into where difficulties may have arisen from in your past. I support clients through a wide range of difficulties including self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, existential difficulties and spirituality.
Relational therapy
Working relationally means I place value on the interaction between two human beings in the room (the two of us!) as part of a therapeutic alliance. Humour, genuine connection, empathy and differences of opinion are all welcome with an open heart and mind as part of the therapeutic process.

Seeking support is a courageous and self-compassionate first step you have already taken. I offer a free 15-20 minute introductory consultation as a way to explore your goals, answer any questions or concerns you may have, and discuss options for working together.
My first session
(1) Free 20 minute initial consultation
Contact me to request an initial free 15-20 minute video consultation. This is early exploratory conversation, an opportunity to ask questions, and discuss options for working together.
(2) First session
The first 50 minute session will be gently structured around an assessment. This gives us the opportunity to land into the space, deepen understanding of difficulties you might be experiencing, and identify your intentions and goals for therapy.
(3) Sessions thereafter
50 minutes sessions are held weekly. Longer sessions are also an option (subject to availability), and we may collaboratively agree to amend frequency or duration after a period of working together.
