About me and my therapy practice
Hiya, I am a warm, empathic and down-to-earth Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor with a genuine nature. Offering a space where your thoughts, feelings and story can be heard, valued and understood. Enabling you to feel free to be your authentic self. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and we'll move at your pace as we explore your unique experience and what matters most to you. Whether you're navigating stress, loss or personal growth.
Practice description
What I Specialise In
Life Transitions: Helping you navigate significant changes, such as, moving, starting a new chapter, or shifts in relationships
Work-related issues: Stress, burnout, and professional challenges
Bereavement and loss: Supporting you through grief, whether it's the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, career change, or other forms of significant loss
Support Through Trauma and Adversity: Supporting individuals directly and indirectly affected by serious youth violence, or those helping others through challenging experiences
Personal development: Supporting self-esteem, confidence, exploring solutions and aspirations
I’m also open to working creatively together if that’s something you’d find helpful. Such as - journaling, reflective tasks, or psychoeducation to enhance the process and support your growth between our meetings.
Working creatively is not for everyone, and so I tailor each session to suit your needs. My approach is always client-focused and we’ll find a way of working together that feels right for you.
My first session
If you are interested in working with me, I would encourage you to contact me for a free 20 minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to briefly discuss your needs and my ability to help, and for you to ask any questions. If we decide to move forward, I'll send a client intake form to be completed before your first session.
The initial 50 minute session is an opportunity to further explore what brings you to therapy, as well as, your hopes, expectations and desired goals and outcomes.
At the end of the session, there's no obligation to commit - time is given for you to reflect and decide if continuing feels right for you.
If you are ready for the next step, feel free to make contact to arrange a consultation call or to learn more.
I look forward to hearing from you.
