About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, my name is Lucy. I am a qualified person-centred counsellor offering individual therapy for adults (18+) in Horley and Crawley or online. I provide a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can talk openly and be truly heard - without judgement or pressure.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, uncertain or heavy and it is okay to need support. Whether you’re facing specific challenges like anxiety, loss, or low self-esteem or simply seeking personal growth and a deeper connection with yourself, counselling can offer a space to pause, breathe, and explore what's going on for you. You don't need to have all the answers to begin - just a willingness to take that first step.
My approach is warm, open and grounded in a way that puts you at the centre. I believe that when you are really listened to and accepted without judgement, it becomes possible to make sense of things and move forward in a way that feels right for you. I won't tell you what to do or give advice - instead I'll offer support, empathy, and a space where you can reconnect with yourself and what matters most to you.
Practice description
I offer a free initial consultation giving you the chance to ask questions, talk through what you are looking for, and get a sense of whether we'd work well together.
Each person’s counselling journey is unique, which is why I provide both short-term and long-term counselling options tailored to suit your individual needs and goals. Together we can find an approach that feels right for you.
I provide individual therapy for adults (18+) in Horley and Crawley; or online, via Zoom.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet in person and explore what you're hoping to achieve from therapy. It also allows us to gather relevant information and begin to understand how we might work together in a way that feels safe, supportive and collaborative.
We'll use the end of the first session to reflect on how the experience felt for you and whether you'd like to move forward with ongoing sessions.
