About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Daniel and I'm a humanistic counsellor.

I’m based in Hastings, East Sussex and offer 50-minute therapy sessions online and in person. I work with adults aged 18 and over, supporting both short and long-term therapeutic needs. My qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Brighton.

My therapeutic approach and relational style of working is built around you and your specific needs. I prioritise creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can openly and confidentially express your thoughts, feelings and concerns. Together we will discuss your goals, with the aim of collaborating and reflecting for making meaning and creating clarity from what can feel like a tangle of emotions and beliefs.

Practice description

I offer online or telephone appointments, which allow you to access counselling at a time and place that is convenient for you. I also offer face-to-face sessions in at a therapy centre in Hastings.

My approach is humanistic and holistic, tailoring the sessions to your specific needs to ensure you feel seen, heard and empowered to discuss and work through your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space.

My first session

I offer an initial, free 15-minute session to introduce ourselves. This consultation allows you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about therapy, about me and how I work to ensure I am the right therapist for you.

If we agree that we’re a fit, then in our first session we can explore your needs, expectations and goals from therapy, then we can establish how to best support you moving forward to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
