About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Vicky, a Íø±¬ÃÅ-registered integrative counsellor dedicated to supporting individuals (18+) on their paths to self-awareness and healing. I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call to see if we would be a good fit to work together.

How I can help

Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether you're dealing with anxiety, low mood, stress, or a general sense that something isn't quite right. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling more emotional than usual, or struggling to sleep.

Counselling provides a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. My role as your therapist is to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of what you're experiencing and supporting you in making the changes you want to see in your life.

I work in a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming way, adapting my approach to meet your individual needs. Together, we might explore:

• Identifying patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you

• Making connections between past experiences and current challenges

• Enhancing your self-awareness

• Developing coping strategies, and

• Making positive changes to your life.

Practice description

Training, qualifications and experience

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am trained in a range of humanistic approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis. My practice is integrative and client-led, meaning I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs.

I offer a warm, compassionate space for individuals navigating life’s challenges, whether you're working through grief, loss, difficult relationships, low self-esteem, or past experiences that continue to affect you. Many of the clients I work with are seeking to make sense of painful or overwhelming emotions or to heal from the lasting impact of unresolved trauma.

My focus is on building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and respect. I aim to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard—where your experiences are validated, and your voice matters.

Together, we can work to gently unpack what’s been holding you back, develop self-awareness and self-compassion, and find new ways of coping, relating, and moving forward.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ) and adhere to their Ethical Framework. I am fully insured and hold a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling, enabling me to work safely and effectively both online and in person.
