About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Naomi and I am a fully qualified person-centred counsellor. I work with adults and younger people.

I work with all life's struggles that may be affecting your daily life and making it hard to to deal with alone.

I specialise in domestic abuse in personal and family relationships.

I am required to complete ongoing training throughout each year, which entails 30 hours of CPD to remain a registered and insured counsellor.

Within my practice, I support you to tell your story in a safe non-judgemental space. This enables you to work through your feelings and feel heard.

I offer in-person sessions, home visits, online and during the summer months, walk and talk sessions.

To find out more, please contact me via email on symondsnaomi345@gmail.com. I will then offer you a free 15 minute introduction call, where you can ask any questions you may have and for us to agree on a time and day for your first session.

Practice description

My practice is based at my home, where I have created a safe confidential space.

I have ample private parking for you and will arrange to meet you at the side entrance, where we will walk around to the back of the house where I have my counselling room.

This is not over looked and is very private, and during the summer months, you will be invited to sit in my tranquil garden or to continue your sessions inside, where I have created a welcoming, confidential, homely space for you.

My first session

During the first session,  I invite you to talk about what has brought you to counselling. We will then gently explore this together and I will support you to feel comfortable and safe throughout.

At the end of this session, I will provide you with a small pack of information to take home and read in your own time.

We will then agree on the time and day of your next session.
